Together with you. Your way.
The Aluma Centers for the treatment of domestic violence were established to offer you advice, guidance, and support, all under one roof.
We are here for you 24/7. No preconditions, commitment, or payment required.
We’re pleased to meet you
The Aluma Centers were established to provide you with assistance, whether you have doubts as to whether your home is safe or not, or whether the answer is already clear to you.
At the Aluma Centers, we can figure out your unique situation together with you and offer you immediate and comprehensive assistance, 24/7 — at all hours of the day and every day of the week, at the center itself or remotely. It is possible to receive our services without opening a file at social services and/or the police.
At the centers, we offer you, under one roof, various services and initial assistance — from information, counseling and guidance regarding the options available to you, to medical help and emotional support, legal assistance and help exercising your rights, the option of filing a complaint on the spot without having to go to a police station, to emotional and physical security, including emergency accommodation at the center if needed. Later in the process, we will assist in locating and referring you to follow-up care in the community, according to your unique needs, so that you can change the current situation and embark on a new and safe path.
To give you a customized, accessible and fast response, the centers have a multi-professional team that includes social workers, personal counselors, police investigators, psychiatrists, and legal advisors. Aluma Centers are located throughout the country, in Akko, Beit Shemesh, Rishon Lezion and Be’er Sheva (the latter two are expected to begin operating over the course of 2023).
In addition, the centers offer professionals from various disciplines specialized counseling on domestic violence.
We all deserve the opportunity to have a safe, calm and happy life.
That includes you.
That’s why we’re here, with you!
The centers were established in the framework of the national inter-ministerial program for the prevention and treatment of domestic violence, led by the Ministry of Welfare and Social Affairs and in partnership with the Ministry of Internal Security, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Justice, the local authorities, the Rashi Foundation, and the National Insurance Institute.
